Hayden's 7th Birthday Party

Hayden decided she wanted to have friends over for her birthday and take everyone to the movies. About eight of Hayden's friends came over and played games for awhile and then my mom and I took them to the movies. We went to see Ice Age in 3-d. The girls had fun and played by the fountain at the harbor after the show. We came home and opened presents and had cake. A couple of the girls stayed the night and went home after breakfast the next morning. We had a Hannah Montana cake and Hayden got lots of cool stuff. It got a little wild.

Hudson's Birthday Party

We had Hudson's birthday party at our home this year. We had slip-n-slides, bubbles, cupcakes, games and more. Friends and family came to celebrate Hudson's 2nd birthday. Hudson was so excited he was falling in his little pool backwards. We had Elmo cupcakes and Hudson got his first train for his birthday. His favorite thing was a magnetic plane that sticks on the refrigerator and you can spell words with it. I cant believe he is already two years old.

The Beginning of Summer

Hayden and Hudson are so excited about summer. They wanted a slip-n-slide for the backyard so I got one and set it up. It was so funny to watch Hudson experiencing this for the first time. Hayden has fugured out how to blow a bubble with gum and she is very excited about this. Hudson thinks he is a part of high school musical and loves to wear my high heels.

First Grade Awards

Hayden's first grade award ceremony was very exciting because her sister and her uncle got to be there. She made a book and got to read the book to everyone. I was not able to be there, but I did have pictures taken so I wouldn't miss anything. Hayden was very excited about her book she made and she came home and told me the book was for me.

"Sit right here and have another beer in Mexico......"

I took my mom to see Kenny Chesney at Pizza Hut park for mother's day. We had a girl's night out and had lots of fun. Kenny was lookin good and put on a great show. We left early because he decided to start singing other people's songs, but other than that it was fun. We both had to work the next day and had to get home and get some sleep.

Hayden's swimming lessons

Hayden knows how to swim, but she still enjoys taking swimming lessons at the YMCA. The bigger kids are learning how to dive and she is not scared at all. She has learned how to float on her back and even do the back stroke. She loves to swim in the deep end and make a big splash.

First Grade Performance

It was a "Texas" theme for the first graders when they performed onTuesday night. They wore cowboy hats and sang songs and danced. It was so cute. Hayden's babysitter Racheal went to watch her and Brian came as well. We had lots of fun and then went to the late night book fair at the school after the performance. Even though I had been hearing these songs for weeks at home, it was fun watching Hay sing them with her friends.
