The Pumpkin Patch

Melody Rampley turned two and we all went to the pumpkin patch to celebrate. It was so much fun! The kids jumped in bounce houses, rode some rides and chased eachother around the pumpkin patch. We had cupcakes and went on a hay ride on a BIG green tractor. The kids had a blast! We had a little fight over the gift bags on our way home, but this was all cured when they discovered the silly glasses.

Hudson's Fall Festival

Hudson had a fall festival at his school and all the kids dressed in their Halloween costumes. His Gammy went to be with him at the festival until I got off of work and then I joined them in the fun. Hudson got all kinds of candy and prizes and he got to play games and spend time with his friends. Hudson's favorite thing was pouring different colored sand into little plastic pumpkins. He even made one for his sister.

Graham putting out fires

Graham is our crazy wiener dog who rides in fire truck cars and wrestles with Hudson. He drives me crazy because he is not trained very well, but the kids absolutley love him. Besides what dog would stay in a fire truck while the kids push him around.

First Day of 2nd Grade

Hayden woke up on the first day of school very excited to start second grade. She had waffles for breakfast (of course) and wore a pretty dress. Her new teacher is Dr. Hodges and she is supposedly the best second grade teacher. Hudson and I walked her into her new classroom and got her settled in. She was a little reluctant for us to leave, but we kissed her and reassured her that second grade was going to be fun.

August in Destin Florida

My mom and Hayden and I went to Destin on vacation and stayed in a condo on the golf course. We were across the street from the beach and within walking distance. We had so much fun relaxing on the beach while Hayden played in the water. Jana and I took stand-up surfing lessons and got to see lots of dolphins while we were surfing. Our favorite restaurant in Destin is the Crab Trap located right on the beach and we would go play on the beach at night after we ate. We also went on a cruise and got to see an unusual siting of a 40ft whale shark. This creature came right up to the boat and it was really amazing. We did not want to leave Destin. I cant wait to go back.

Garage Sale Horse

We were on our way home from running errands and we passed a garage sale in our neighborhood. Hayden started screaming for me to stop at the garage sale. We stopped and Hudson went crazy over a black plasic horse. The lady running the garage sale gave it to us for free because she was laughing at Hudson's excitement. Hudson's big boy haircut

Right now every day has been above 100 degrees and it is absolutley miserable outside. I took the kids to get their hair cut and I love Hudson with long hair, but it is so hot outside that I can't make him have long hair anymore. Don't worry everybody, it will be long again by winter time.
