First Grade Awards

Hayden's first grade award ceremony was very exciting because her sister and her uncle got to be there. She made a book and got to read the book to everyone. I was not able to be there, but I did have pictures taken so I wouldn't miss anything. Hayden was very excited about her book she made and she came home and told me the book was for me.

"Sit right here and have another beer in Mexico......"

I took my mom to see Kenny Chesney at Pizza Hut park for mother's day. We had a girl's night out and had lots of fun. Kenny was lookin good and put on a great show. We left early because he decided to start singing other people's songs, but other than that it was fun. We both had to work the next day and had to get home and get some sleep.

Hayden's swimming lessons

Hayden knows how to swim, but she still enjoys taking swimming lessons at the YMCA. The bigger kids are learning how to dive and she is not scared at all. She has learned how to float on her back and even do the back stroke. She loves to swim in the deep end and make a big splash.

First Grade Performance

It was a "Texas" theme for the first graders when they performed onTuesday night. They wore cowboy hats and sang songs and danced. It was so cute. Hayden's babysitter Racheal went to watch her and Brian came as well. We had lots of fun and then went to the late night book fair at the school after the performance. Even though I had been hearing these songs for weeks at home, it was fun watching Hay sing them with her friends.

Being silly on a Sunday

Hayden has figured out how to work my camera and she loves to take pictures. (especially of herself). We are relaxing on a Sunday afternoon and Hayden decided to take pics of everyone.

"Spoiled Rotten Graham"

This dog that we have is so spoiled. Here are some pictures of him sleeping in the bed like a person. He is a mess. I just bought him new bones and he is digging holes in the back yard to put his bones in. He wins the award for the most spoiled member of the Hammond family. Oh and he and Hudson love to wrestle.

"Potty Time"

Hudson has recently showed interest in wanting to potty. I bought him a seat that goes on top of the toilet so he won't fall in. (Its really cute, it looks like a football). He tends to use a large amount of toilet paper and tries to wipe like a girl, but we are working on that. I am just so shocked that he is interested at such a young age. When we got home from church the other day he went potty and he was so proud of himself. These are some pics from that day.
